I stayed in the saddle all the way, and my power dropped by 15W compared to how I normally get out of the saddle, but I\'92m sure I saved more than that by being aero. And that was also the first test of my new skin suit, and I got a bunch of PRs, I was going to compare with the TT bike today.\ \ Up Hawk I was 3 seconds slower than the road bike yesterday, and I was careful to avoid the rocks and potholes. Then as I passed the big gun, these people were walking in the entire road, and made me go around them, making me hit a pothole where I got two flats on my new corsa speeds. If you\'92ve never tried riding with two flats, I can tell you it\'92s a lot of fun on a TT bike! I\'92m glad I glued those in really well, but if I rode yesterday when the tires were first inflated, I may have been ok.\ \ And because of all this, I missed the 7am window this morning where the wind looked perfect to get a PR too, but now I have to do maintenance on my fast wheels to get a PR anyway. I hope I can get to it today.\ \ \ \ This is the story of my only surgery at Kaiser that I know of, and it starts 50 years ago when a cyst suddenly appeared in my left wrist! It was very painful and so I went to the doctor of course, and he said that in the old days they would smack the wrist with the Bible, but they could do surgery too. I ended up having the surgery and my wrist was in a brace for 6 weeks. A few years later it came back but I didn\'92t go to a doctor. I was wondering what to do when I slipped in some water and braced myself with my left hand and that\'92s all it took, it never come back since and my wrist is fine.\ \ And so when I injured my right hand a few weeks ago and a cyst developed, I certainly didn\'92t rush to the hospital to have a doctor look at it. It\'92s getting better. I took a picture of my hands so you can see. I took another pic of just my left hand with the scars highlighted in purple. It\'92s a bit blurry but you should be able to notice that I had a lot of scars on my hand that were there 50 years ago. I don\'92t know where they came from, but I assume it was the same time I lost my memory and got all the other scars too, and the doctor at the time would have known that, but instead, he made up a story in my medical records that isn\'92t supported by other record entries of how I injured my wrist previously. But to me, he just said I must have injured it and never mentioned all the scars that were clearly visible.\ \ \ This is a description of my last doctor visit with Sutter Health on Valencia Street and what I learned from the experience. By this point in 2023, I had seen many doctors and they had all failed to help me with serious risks like heart attacks and sudden cardiac death, so I decided to try something else and see if they could help with the simplest thing I could think of.\ \ As it turns out, I had some wax in my left ear and I simply asked them to help with that. They charged me $500 to clean my ear and failed! And then I saw a specialist, who said I didn\'92t have any wax at all, and I must be imagining it, and he charged me $500 for a hearing test I didn\'92t need! I could tell the doctor was a quack, so that day I searched online and bought my own otoscope for $100 which arrived quickly, and so I was able to see the wax in my own ear and take pictures too, so I could see what was going on and eventually got it cleaned, and confirmed that the specialist was indeed a quack.\ \ So I\'92m glad I got the otoscope. Sometimes just doing it yourself is the best or only way. I did write a letter to Sutter about this and they never responded. That was my fourth letter about my healthcare.\ \ \pard\tx720\tx1440\tx2160\tx2880\tx3600\tx4320\tx5040\tx5760\tx6480\tx7200\tx7920\tx8640\pardirnatural\partightenfactor0 \cf0 This is a related story that describes my only surgery at Kaiser that I know of, and it starts 50 years ago when a cyst suddenly appeared in my left wrist! It was very painful and so I went to the doctor of course, and he said that in the old days they would smack the wrist with a Bible, but they could do surgery too. I ended up having the surgery and my wrist was in a brace for 6 weeks. A few years later it came back but I didn\'92t go to a doctor because I had stopped going to them. I was wondering what to do when I slipped in some water and braced myself with my left hand and that\'92s all it took, it never came back since and my wrist is fine. Sometimes things like that happen. The surgery had been ineffective, left me scarred, and made me even weaker at the time, so it was a bad choice. I was already the weakest in the school.\ \ It turns out my wrist had been hurt previously, at the same time as my ear and the rest of my body was damaged, and the doctors don\'92t want me to know about it. But I want them to know that I always suspected something had happened to me and kept an open mind, still do, I think that\'92s important.\ \ Also, I hurt my right hand 4 weeks ago and got a cyst. I didn\'92t go to the doctor, obviously, but it\'92s been hard to type or do my bills or anything. It\'92s better now. If my CPA sees this, I\'92ll be getting to your bill soon. It\'92s just that you did my taxes late with no apology so I didn\'92t rush to pay you for the lousy service you gave me, and then the colocation site stole my server, and that took a lot of my time to recover from, but I\'92ll be able to expense the $3k it cost me on my taxes. I was prepared for it, as you know, having bought the spare server two years ago when Rackspace did something just like it. What a mess trying to do business or get health care in San Francisco.\ \ }
